Rajashekhara, a prominent playwright of the ninth century, left a lasting legacy through his literary works composed in both Sanskrit and Prakrit. Born around 855 CE and possibly living until 930 CE, his life traversed significant political and cultural shifts in ancient India. Hailing from a family with roots in the Maharashtra region, Rajasekhara was the son of Duhika or Durduka and Shilavati.
